The Project on Nuclear Gaming (PoNG) studies nuclear deterrence and escalation dynamics using three types of analytic games:
Scenario-Based Discussion
Discussions provide participants with a venue for role-playing conflict escalation through in-person interactions.
Table-Top Exercise
The board game is a structured environment to simulate conventional and nuclear conflict through diplomacy, signaling and action.
E-Game
The online version of the board game to recruit players from across the world to simulate conventional and nuclear conflict.
